The Myth of Making More Money
Making more money is not going to solve your financial problems.
You are in your financial condition because of the decision you have made in the past. Money is a magnifying glass: it will accelerate and bring to light your true habits.
Your spending habits is your problem. Not making enough money is not. If you have any source of income, then you are in a position to save some money. There are not any excuses for not saving money.
If you are not capable of handling a job paying $18,000 a year, the worst possible thing that could happen is you start earning six figures. If you can't handle $18,000, there is no way you could handle $100,000.
If you are spending money until you are broke then the outcome is the same. Their are countless incidents of rich celebrities going broke. They have spent millions of dollars without saving anything. If you have $10 and spend all of it, then you will be broke. If you have $10,000 and spend all of it, then you will be broke. If you have $10,000,000 and spend all of it, then you will be broke. The amount of money doesn't matter. What you do with the money is all that is important.
Don't concentrate your efforts on making more money. You should learn what to do with the money that you already make. The problem is not the size of the paycheck, it is how you were taught to spend it.
