Quarter-a three month period of a financial calendar used to report earnings and pay dividends
Quote-current of delayed price being offered for a particular security
Red -negative balance on a company's financial statements
Reinvestment-using interest or dividends to purchase more securities
Retained earnings-percentage of net earnings not paid out in dividends
Return- the gain of loss of a security in a specified time, consisting of income plus capital gains, it usually quoted as a percentage.
Risk -the chance that an investments actual return will be different than expected
Savings account-a deposit account for funds not expected to stay long
