Don't Buy The Product, Buy The Stock

Stop buying the products that companies sell and buy the stock. People spend too much money on consumer products or services that will not make them any money. Stop and think. If you spent the money buying the stock instead of the product, instead of losing money, you will make money.

Think about it for a few moments. If you have $40 to spend. You could spend it on Coke products or you could buy Coke stock. If you bought Coke products, you won't make any money. On the other hand if you bought Coke stock, you would start to receive dividends on your stock. These are the type of decision you need to start making if you trully want to be financial independent. In either case you will have spent $40. You may as well buy the stock. Most wealthy people put about 30 percent of their income into savings and investments. That isn't a result of being rich, that is why they are rich.

When the pain of getting out of bondage of financial slavery is greater than the pain of changing your spending habits, you will become rich. Either change, or be content to live as you are.
